The team at West Florida Roofing did a great job for us.  From the estimate through completion, Joe was fantastic.  The Florida weather really made things as tough as they could be and West Florida Roofing came through despite the challenges.  We had a deadline to get our roof installed by and they made the date with a couple days to spare in spite of significant weather delays beyond anyone's control.  Joe, one of the owners, came out and did the final inspection personally.  He was up on the roof and went around our entire yard checking everything out.  He spotted a couple of very minor things that I never would have noticed and had them squared away immediately. Roof came out ok but Don’t trust a thing he says. Charged for an extra dumpster even after a deal was made about it. Went back on what he said workers left trash all over the yard and blew into neighbors yard and his workers kept throwing their trash in my trailers. Then proceeded to Insult the house calling it “ Dilapidated” Thanks a lot, Joe. I will not be recommending your company to anybody that asks!!!!!

I can honestly say that I am 100% pleased with choosing West Florida Roofing. Everything went smooth, communication was good and they did not leave a mess behind. From my very first call to get a quote on repairing or installing a new roof I could tell West Florida Roofing was a 5 star company.  The owner Joe called me back the same day and I advised him I lived in an older mobile home with a roof built over it due to two room additions.  I told Joe I was very cost conscious based on the age (1976) and overall condition of the mobile home itself and he reached out to his repair specialist who called me back while I was still on the phone with Joe to schedule an appointment.  I had another company that was already scheduled to come out earlier in the day than West Florida Roofing was coming out and they gave me a quote that I found very reasonable and so I signed with them to do the roof replacement.   I called Joe and told him to cancel the repair specialist due to my signing with another company.   The only reason Joe and I didn't discuss a roof replacement during our first conversation was the fact that he knew how price conscious I was and wanted to have it looked at for possible repairs first (solid customer service experience right there).   We discussed the quote I received from the other company and Joe was able to go online and see an aerial view of my property and even got on a Facetime with me to look at some particulars on my roof and interior.  He was able to beat their price by $1,900 dollars.  I told Joe I had already signed and was probably going to stick with them since I had already signed and he still spent additional time on the phone with me just shooting the bull.  Even though I did end up going with the other company (they lowered their price by over $1,000 after I advised them of my conversation with Joe at West Florida Roofing.    I used to flip houses, manage rental properties and was a Realtor for 8 years and I have dealt with a lot of contractors and service people and I even though I didn't use West Florida Roofing I got nothing but a 5 star vibe from Joe. I can't say enough good things about West Florida Roofing. I came home to my new house (in a new state for me, so I know no one) after being gone a few weeks to find part of my ceiling on the floor and water clearly leaking from above. Floors buckled from the water damage. It was after 5 p.m., storm clouds were rolling in, and I was panicking, imagining the sky opening up and making everything worse. I called, texted, and emailed every roofing company I could find. West Florida Roofing was the first to call back. Kendra was kind and incredibly helpful, and she got Joe on the road right away. When Joe arrived, he quickly determined it wasn't a roofing issue at all, an AC drain pan had overflowed due to condensation. A clogged line and an improper installation last year the culprit. He could have left right then because he determined he wasn't going to charge me anything for the visit. Instead, he stayed to drain the pan, arranged for an AC company to come assess the problem, and checked in with me over the next several days to see if there was anything more he could do and offered his advice. My dad has been in construction nearly my whole life, and he's the bar I measure every contractor against. His integrity and care are untouchable. Joe is one of the first people I've met who holds himself to that same standard, and it meant a lot, because he had nothing to gain by staying to help. I'd highly recommend Kendra and Joe, and West Florida Roofing will absolutely be my first call the next time I need anything roofing-related. Thank you both for making the experience feel more like I had a friend to lean on vs a contractor to be weary of.
